The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Robotics Deployment Engineer Intern to support our live robot deployments operating across our London sites. - Monitor deployed robots (XBOT, Keenon units) on-site to ensure they are operating correctly throughout the day
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate technical faults or malfunctions
- Perform basic maintenance, resets, and day-to-day operational checks
- Liaise with venue staff and the LEC Robotics team on deployment status
- Report issues, downtime, and performance notes back to the operations team
- Support setup, breakdown, and stock/consumable checks where required
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence, comfortable driving between deployment sites
- Comfortable and willing to travel independently to sites across London daily
- Interest in robotics, engineering, or mechatronics (student or recent graduate welcome)
- Practical, hands-on problem-solver, comfortable working independently on-site
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit
- Good communication skills for reporting issues clearly and promptly
- Mandarin speaker is a plus, not essential
- Available to start immediately
What We Offer
- Β£2,500/month
- Real-world experience with live commercial robotics deployments
- Potential to extend into a long-term contract based on performance
- Direct exposure to LEC Robotics' operations and engineering team
