We're hiring a Robot Operator Manager to lead and expand the real-world robotics data collection operations. In this role, you'll oversee a team of Robot Operators responsible for gathering high-quality teleoperation and egocentric data that drives the next generation of world models and robotics foundation models.

Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead, train, and manage Robot Operators across assigned data collection sites
- Plan staffing, schedules, and resource allocation to support daily operations
- Monitor team productivity, operational KPIs, and data collection throughput
- Oversee onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and continuous training
- Manage distributed teams across Southeast Asia, India, and Latin America, ensuring consistent execution and high-quality data collection
- Monitor quality, productivity, and protocol compliance through QA reviews, coaching, and operational feedback
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
Data Collection Operations
- Oversee teleoperation and egocentric data collection to ensure quality and consistency
- Esure collection protocols, task procedures, and experimental workflows are followed
- Monitor data quality, metadata completeness, and operational performance
- Coordinate deployment of operators, robots, and equipment across data collection sites
- Partner with engineering teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve workflows
Robot & Equipment Management
- Manage robot fleet readiness, maintenance, calibration, and equipment inventory
- Coordinate setup of new robot workcells and data collection environments
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate technical problems as needed
- Ensure robots, sensors, VR systems, and supporting equipment remain fully operational
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with research and engineering teams to execute new data collection initiatives
- Support deployment of new robots, teleoperation systems, and operational processes
- Provide operational feedback to improve hardware, software, and data quality
If you are someone with the following, lets chat!
- Experience leading operational teams in robotics, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, automation, or similar environments
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Comfortable working with robots, automation equipment, mechanical systems, and hardware
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to operational excellence
- Willing to travel between Singapore and Johor Bahru as needed
- Experience managing robotics operations, robot data collection, or field operations
- Familiarity with teleoperation systems, industrial robots, automation equipment, and process optimization
- Experience developing SOPs, tracking operational metrics, and managing distributed teams
- Experience scaling operations in a fast-paced startup environment
